Go Up Go Down

Yeah, so I sighted in the bow today and let me tell you... FOBS ROCK!  I was busting FOBs within a hour and had to stop shooting groups.

So, my problem is this... my inserts won't stay in.  Out of a dozen of new V1's, I now have TWO arrows that still have inserts in them.  They would come off as I was either screwing in the field points or would pull out as I removed the arrows from my bag target.  I lost one insert and field point inside the bag but just that one.  Tried to fish it out but couldn't find it.

What should I do (any help with the process is appreciated) and what products would you guys recommend to keep this from happening again?

I am new at this and just want to get my shafts back up and running again..

Thanks!

EDIT* Also, I would like to pick up some more inserts, more nocks and more FOBs for a just in case type of situation.  I know the Victory shafts come with the Bohning Double Lock Nocks and those seem to be working well so I will stick with those.  What inserts will I need for the V-Force V1 shafts?  Should I try and get the same ones so the weight will be the same or are most standard .245 inserts weigh about the same?

K so here is what I did.  I did some reading today and got some pretty good ideas.  I ended up finding two packs of Gold Tip .246 inserts at academy and picked up a brass brush and swab for a .243.

Used some denatured alcohol to remove the old glue and used the brass brush to rough up the inside of the shaft.  I then used Gorilla's 5 minute, two part epoxy to glue them in.  Now, we wait until Wednesday when I will attempt to pull the inserts out of each and every one of them... with sheer pulling force.

Hopefully they stay.  I think they will...

Ok, so I got home yesterday and screwed in all of my field points to my newly inserted shafts.

I pulled on every single one of them, twisted and pulled... and none of them budged.

I believe that I am now, good to go!

I don't think I could get them out even if I wanted to... lol
