Recently a friend of mine gave me his old bow  Jennings Black Lightning by Fred Bear (fairly old) had it inspected at the local pro shop, they gave me a thumbs up.  Have been shooting it for 3 weeks and so far i'm using cheapy carbon arrows from a local farm and ranch supply chain (Bluestem if anyone knows what that is) and at 20 yards i can put 5 in a beer can, at 30 yards i can get 3 in there pretty regularly, using standard 4" vanes with a 100gr field point.  I'VE CAUGHT THE FEVER!!! safe to say i'll be shooting for many years to come, tho I am looking to upgrade by bow already, it's definatly enough for a starter but 50# is it's top end.  Will be ordering FOB's next payday and checking the mail box every day
